Sohail Ahmed Abro is a Sindhi nationalist leader, political activist, and human rights advocate. He is internationally recognized for his lifelong struggle for the right of self-determination of Sindh and the Sindhi people.
 
From his early political activism to the founding of the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM), Abro has dedicated his life to the cause of freedom, democracy, and human dignity. His leadership combines grassroots activism with international diplomacy, making him one of the most prominent Sindhi voices on the global stage.

  • Forced into self-imposed exile in 2016 due to state persecution, Sohail has lived in Malaysia, Dubai, and currently resides in the United Kingdom. From abroad, he engages with the international community, including the United Nations, Amnesty International, and the British Parliament, raising awareness about human rights violations, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings in Sindh and Balochistan.
