Speakers Address Seminar in London on the 31st Death Anniversary of G.M. Syed
London:

A seminar titled “G.M. Syed – Leader of Oppressed Nations” was organized in London, United Kingdom, by the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement on the occasion of the 31st death anniversary of Sindh’s national leader, G. M. Syed.
The seminar was attended by Sindhi, بلوچ (Baloch), پشتون (Pashtun), and ڪشميري (Kashmiri) participants, while special speakers also joined from the United States and Canada. The event began with the national anthem of Sindhudesh, followed by a traditional welcome in which guests were presented with Ajraks.

The seminar was addressed by several prominent speakers, including: Sohail Abro, Chairman of Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement, Dr. Maqbool Halepoto, President of Sindhi Association of North America (SANA), USA, Zulfiqar Ali Khwaja, Chairman of Advocacy and Rights Committee (SANA), Canada, Qambar Malik Baloch, General Secretary of Baloch Advocacy and Studies Center, Dr. Hidayat Bhutto, Organizer of World Sindhi Congress UK-Europe, Hafeez Baloch, leader of Baloch Republican Party UK, Javed Khattak, leader of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement, Jasim Baloch, leader of Baloch National Movement, Sardar Amjad Yousaf, President of Europe United Kashmir Peoples National Party, Said Alam Mehsud, Pashtun intellectual, Sarang Hyder, Coordinator of Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh (Europe Chapter), Imdad Ali Odho, Chief Executive of Radio Voice of Sindh London, and Web Voice of Sindh, Barkhana Afghan, Mansoor Hub, Press Spokesperson of Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement.

In their speeches, the speakers paid tribute to G. M. Syed and highlighted his life and political struggle. They stated that on March 31,1973, he presented the idea of Sindhudesh’s independence and remained committed to this cause throughout his life.
They emphasized that G.M. Syed consistently advocated for the rights of Sindhis, Baloch, Pashtuns, Saraikis, Kashmiris, and the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, who, according to the speakers, remain under political oppression. He supported human unity, global peace, and human progress.

The speakers further noted that G.M. Syed worked alongside leaders of oppressed nations such as Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Abdul Samad Achakzai, Makhdoom Riaz Hashmi, and Muhammad Hussain Anqa in the struggle for unity, freedom, and rights of marginalized peoples.

The participants reaffirmed their commitment to his ideology.
At the end of the seminar, several resolutions were passed, including: Recognition of the right to self-determination for Sindh, Balochistan,,Pashtunistan, Saraikistan, (Kashmir), and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Demand for withdrawal of what was described as “Punjabi domination” from these regions. Call for referendums under the supervision of the United Nations.

Request for UN representatives to monitor the situation and oversee the transfer of authority to local populations. Immediate end to military operations in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Legal action in international courts against alleged human rights violations.

Release of all missing persons. specifically demanded the release of political prisoners and missing persons, including Ali Wazir, Mahrang Baloch, family members of Nasim Baloch, Ustad Waheed Qambar, Talib Laghari, Sohail Raza Bhatti, Ayub Kandhro, and others.

The participants further called for the withdrawal of arrest warrants against Manzoor Pashteen, chairman of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement.
